Camden's Baptism

I can't believe that my little Camden is 8 years old and was baptized last week. Where did the time go? He looked so handsome in his white clothes and in his new suit. He said when he came out of the water he "had a warm fuzzy feeling". (even though the water was pretty cold, I guess they wanted it to be more like the pioneer times?) After the baptism, we let Cam pick where he wanted to go to dinner, so we went to Wingers. It was such a neat day!

Family Fun!

We had a family reunion this summer with the Rice side of the family. It was so fun to see everyone. I can't believe how big all of the cousins are getting! (I guess I should say my cousin's kids, not my cousins themselves.) We are so lucky that we have such a close family. Even though some of us don't see each other for years, it seems like days and we just pick back up where we left off. We ate, talked, and the kids had a pirate bouncy castle to play on.

Elysia's Blessing

Elysia's blessing was last month, but I wanted to post a few pictures. It was so neat. Chris gave her an amazing blessing that talked a lot about her family and her grandparents and great-grandparents. After the blessing we had a dinner at our house. It was fun to see everyone and get together. Grandma and Grandpa Rice even came down from Idaho to come to the blessing (and two other cousins').
Elysia's Blessing dress was very special to me. It was one that she embroidered/tatted when she was pregnant with my dad. (she thought he was going to be a girl) She gave me the dress about a year before she died.

I am now officially in the computer age. This is my first attempt at blogging. Well, to be honest it is my second attempt, the first time I wanted to set up a blog I couldn't think of a good name. I think Brown Family Frolics fit our family perfectly. Stay tuned for more fun!
